DS system pump takes in fluid from the equipment tank (at lowest point) and passes it through the filter insert. From the insert center the Oil flows through the filter bottom and returns back to the main tank. The pressure drop and contamination absorption of the filter insert is monitored on the pressure gauge of the DS system. The filter outlet port is in the housing bottom. The filtered Oil should be returned to the main equipment tank and to be close to the suction pipe of the principle system pump suction chamber. Note: Return point has to be non-pressurized.
